A little goes a long way. Juniper berries can be used whole or in a ground powder form. Before grinding, roast the berries in a dry pan to release more of their flavour. Try baking with juniper berries by adding it to your cookies, pancakes, apple pie, or chocolate pudding. Juniper berries also compliment savoury dishes and meats very well. Try adding some to your pork, salmon, chicken or lamb marinades and spice rubs.
