Chia seeds can easily be incorporated into any diet. They are almost flavourless, so can be added to pretty much anything. Chia seeds can be sprinkled on any meal such as porridge, cereal, smoothies, baked foods, salads, yoghurt, soups, rice dishes, casseroles… the list goes on. Also, because of their ability to absorb liquid and fat, they can be used to thicken sauces or as a vegan substitute for egg in recipes. They can also be used to create a healthy pudding snack by soaking 2 tablespoons in a glass of milk, chocolate milk or dairy free milk.
