Raw almonds are extremely versatile. They can be enjoyed as a snack on their own, or added to a trail mix or nut mix along with some seeds and dried fruit. They're a great addition to a grazing platter or cheese board. Almonds can be soaked in water overnight, drained and blended with 6 parts water then strained for a dairy free milk that can last a few days in the refrigerator. Almonds can be chopped up and added to granola, muffins, salads, or other savoury dishes. You could make almond meal by grinding raw almonds, or make almond butter by blending into a smooth paste. Try using almonds to create a pesto!
