There are so many creative ways to incorporate macadamia nuts into your cooking. Macadamia are great to use in desserts including pie crusts, cookies and brownies. Macadamia nuts can be blended into a gluten free and low carb flour for baking. You can even make your own macadamia nut butter as a healthier alternative to peanut butter. To do so, blend the nuts in a food processor with a drizzle of coconut oil and honey (optional). Macadamia nuts can be roasted in a pan or in the oven with whatever seasonings you fancy. They make a great snack, or can be added to trail mix or grazing platters.
