How to enjoy

Polenta porridge is traditionally made by mixing polenta into boiling water and whisking constantly for about 30-45 minutes. Use 4 parts water/stock/liquid for every 1 part polenta. Adding a fat such as butter or olive oil gives polenta a rich flavour. Plain polenta can be quite bland, so season well. To make an even more flavourful savoury polenta, use broth instead of water. Use polenta to make something sweet by using milk and sweetener.
