How to enjoy

Black rice pairs well with a variety of dishes. It can be added to salads, soups, enjoyed as a side dish, used for rice bowls, or even rice pudding. To prepare, bring 1 part rinsed black rice and 2 1/2 parts water or stock to the boil. Reduce and allow to simmer for 50 mins or until the rice is soft and almost no water is left.
