How to enjoy

Chana dal can be added to soups, salads, curries, stews and sweet dishes and puddings. To prepare, soak the chickpeas in water overnight or for at least 3 hours. Add to a pot with plenty of water, allow to come to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for about 35 minutes until the chickpeas are tender. Drain excess water. Chana Dal can also be blended into a flour (besan flour).
