To prepare popcorn, coat a pot with your choice of oil and add half a cup of popcorn. Cover and heat over medium heat for a few minutes. Once you hear the popping, reduce to low heat and regularly shake the pot with the lid on to prevent kernels from burning. Remove form heat once the popping sounds stop. Enjoy with a sprinkle of your choice of salt for a classic flavour. Try adding a sprinkle of zaatar or a little cinnamon and dessicated coconut for something different.
